Curlew

Just lately have become interested in waders!!  Out on the boat the other day and rowed past our resident group of Curlew. The sound and sight of curlew and red shank on the river are very emotive and atmospheric.

Steps at Mawnan Completed!

Four days into the work the top step was put into place. The weather had been unusually kind to the construction team, allowing good progress to be made in laying the remainder of the 17 steps below the top one.
